This release leverages the specialized API adapter to bridge the gap between our DMS and the PartsLink24 B2B Parts Sales Portal. The update focuses on three core areas: real-time data accuracy, automated order processing, and dynamic workflow management.
1. Real-time Stock Visibility We have implemented direct stock information commands (stock-information) that allow the portal to query availability for specific Brands, Items, or Customers instantly.
The Benefit: This eliminates time-consuming manual stock publication. By providing accurate, real-time availability, you reduce the risk of miscalculations and significantly enhance customer trust and loyalty.
2. Automated Order Creation & Retrieval The interface now supports full-cycle order management. Users can automatically submit new parts orders into the DMS and retrieve comprehensive lists or specific details for Parts, Vehicle, and Service orders.
The Benefit: This seamless data exchange establishes a dedicated, high-speed sales channel. It reduces manual entry time, enabling your parts department to process more transactions with fewer errors.
3. Dynamic Order Modification Business moves fast, and orders change constantly. We have introduced capabilities to modify or append to existing orders dynamically, enabling on-the-fly updates to quantities or line items.
The Benefit: Ensures complete data synchronization between the Partslink24 web portal and our DMS. This flexibility prevents supply chain discrepancies and ensures the final invoice always matches the customer's latest request.
