Munich, Germany (Nov. 11 th 2016) - incadea, a leading global provider of automotive retail solutions, has acquired BSE Consulting Co. Ltd. (BSE), a South Korean based IT company, offering proven and flexible IT solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Office SharePoint to several verticals including automotive.

Enhancing incadea’s strong presence in Asia Pacific, this strategic acquisition expands incadea’s geographical reach and enables the company to gain direct access to the South Korean market which was served via a local certified channel partner. The South Korean market is the fifth-largest market in the world based on automobile unit production and export volume.

As a Microsoft Certified Partner since 2009, BSE is an expert on Microsoft business solutions and has a significant track record of successful projects. In the automotive retail field, BSE has gained extensive expertise working closely with leading industry players.

Through this transaction, BSE will be renamed incadea Korea, serving global OEM customers present in the South Korean market and supporting local car manufacturers and their dealer networks to help grow their business and increase efficiencies as they navigate a rapidly changing global automotive industry. Having recently been acquired by Cox Automotive — an Atlanta-based company with industry-leading e-commerce solutions for consumers, dealers, and manufacturers — incadea will focus on advancing innovation by offering an enriched product portfolio of additional Cox Automotive brands such as Modix and Xtime.

Patrick Katenkamp, incadea CEO and president Software (International) of Cox Automotive, said “As we continue aggressively pursuing our strategic growth plan, the acquisition of the South Korean-based BSE allows incadea to further increase our footprint in the Asia Pacific region. Our new subsidiary has profound knowledge of business processes in the South Korean automotive retail market and maintains extensive know how in Microsoft technology. It is really a perfect fit. We are delighted to welcome BSE team members to our family and work closely together as one team for taking the South Korean automotive retail to the next level”.

“I am delighted with this acquisition,” said Leo Oh, founder and current Managing Director of BSE. “I am convinced that together with incadea, we will create clear added value for our clients and team. Being part of incadea, an expert in automotive retail, signifies a bright future for all of us.”
